Circa Survive

Wow.  It's been quite some time since I have updated my BLAWG.

Das no bueno.

So this past Friday I had the privilege of seeing Circa Survive in concert for the first time.
There's no other words to describe it other than AMAZING!!! (Notice the 3 x-cluh-may-shee-own points if you will)
(Shown above:  Limited Edition Tour Poster for SLC)

They had an awesome backdrop which was the artwork of the CD and a pretty cool light show goin.
They also had confetti blowerz/shooterz/machinez and balloons they would throw out into the audience.
Some had lights in them.  It was pretty fun watching the crowd toss the balloons around until they popped.
But aside from all the crazy crap they had, the band seriously killed it.  I was very impressed.
Jordan Makin said they don't sound as good as on their CD but Jordan can be a very critical creature sometimes.

Anyway, bottom line, Anthony Green is da man!

Hoping I will have the chance to see them again soon.

That's it for now......

Keep your eyes posted for more posts from your favorite Indian.

Can I just say that I am beyond stoked for Underoath's new album?

Over the years, they have been one of my fave bands of all time.
Just the way they bring screamo and a poppy sensibility together is just amazing.
In April, Aaron Gillespie, the drummer of the band announced the decision to leave the band.
At first, I was seriously so mad because he brought such a great element to the band.
He is the reason I fell in love with the band.  His drumming is amazing and his voice is so good.
It was a really confusing moment for a lot of people that left the questions:  Who's going to replace him?  Is this the end of Underoath?  Will it be just screaming now?  Etc.
Then the decision was finally made.. Daniel Davison (former drummer of Norma Jean for any of you that care at all).
But still questions remained.. Is he going to be as good or better than Aaron?  Is he going to be a permanent member?  Etc etc.
Well to make a long story short,  Daniel Davison is a great drummer, he may have different style and he doesn't sing, but that shouldn't stop anyone from continuing down Underoath's glorious path.  Spencer reached outside his bubble if you will on this new album and did a lot of singing and he sounds really good. I'm just stoked to hear this new album as a whole.

New album Tuesday!

Go get it!
